Fine grained white marble (Pentelic?).

Head, broken off at base of neck; Chipped or broken: tip of nose, neck.

Head of a female statuette. The face is a broad oval with idealized features. The hair is arranged in a roll of hair that frames the face; the tresses hanging down in back are more elaborately twisted.
